A lovely traditional amber Murano glass wall lantern for your patio or terrace, hand blown by a skilled Venetian artisan, using techniques handed down through the generations. In the Venetian tradition, it is very generously sized.

An elegant bronze arm holds the lantern away from the wall.

It can be made for you in two finishes. The first is the "scavo" glass seen here. A special chemical is used to erode parts of the surface of the glass, to give it a slightly weathered rustic appearance. The opaque amber glass shade gently diffuses the light, for a soft and warm glow.

We can also offer you a clear "balloton" finish. A special mould is used to create a lovely raised criss-cross pattern on the glass. If you are lucky enough to have visited Venice and taken a vaporetto across the lagoon to the studios on Murano, you will know that this is a very typical Venetian style.
